Helpful
tips for a safe and enjoyable Halloween
Halloween is probably one of the
most eagerly anticipated holidays by children. However,
for the child on the autism spectrum, the
Halloween experience of going to parties and
trick-or-treating can be emotionally, physically
and mentally over-stimulating, causing stress for
the child and family members.
The Autism
Society of America, dedicated to increasing
public awareness about autism and addressing the
issues faced by families touched by the condition,
has prepared a special web page with helpful
tips to make Halloween safe and enjoyable. |
