At Sydney's School we are striving to add a grade each year so that your student may continue to grow with us. Currently, we are able to educate and care for children up to 3rd grade.  We also understand that sometimes your student's needs may be better met at another school. In order to help you create a clear educational path from VPK thru middle school we have worked with other schools in the community to create a seemless transition program for your family. 

 

Morning Star School

The Morning Star School is located in Pinellas Park, Florida. The school was founded in 1969 by Charles B. McLaughlin, Bishop of the Diocese of St. Petersburg, with the primary purpose of serving elementary school age children of all faiths, races, and nationalities who have special learning needs. 

The admission process at Morning Star School includes an admission evaluation. The evaluation process consists of a review of psychological evaluations, educational evaluations, behavior plans, previous years IEP and a student/parent interview. 

If you are accepted into Morning Star School a Sydney's School Behavior Analyst is available to meet with Morning Star teachers and staff to provide training on individualized behavior plans or support services for a period of time decided upon by the IEP team at Morning Star.
